The film “Luce and the Rock” by Britt Rae's first prize in the international competition 2023 is available online. We are pleased to have deservedly awarded the prize and that the film is now freely available. A must see!
Jury statement: Clear color and form design, an original musical concept, coherent animation and a playfully innovative use of montage make the film unique. Luce approaches the unknown with courage and determination, breaking the rigid conventions of her world. “Good Morning”.
We need donations for the realization of our children's festival
A major concern of the festival is to enable all children to participate in the film programs free of charge and thus allow them to experience the festival without financial constraints. Most of the organizational work for the children's festival is done on a voluntary basis, but there is a lack of funding from sponsors to cover the rent for the cinema. We therefore need support to be able to organize the Monstrale children's festival.

The selection process of the festival has been completed and 79 exceptional films will be shown in the competitions and programs. We would like to thank all those who submitted films and would like to emphasize once again that it was very difficult to make a selection. The detailed program with all films, programs and further information will be available here from mid-August.
